The Prep Kitchen

Overview

The real problem
The Prep Kitchen is an active brand I am currently working on.
The business is built around a simple promise. Take thinking out of eating well. No trends. No shortcuts. Just consistent, well executed meals that show up every week and fit into real routines.
This is an operations led brand. Menu planning, sourcing, portioning, production cadence, and fulfillment drive everything downstream.
My role is hands on and ongoing. I work closely with the team to sharpen brand clarity, improve the digital experience, and build growth systems that respect operational reality instead of fighting it.
Key decisions
The strategic moves that unlocked growth.
The outcome
The Prep Kitchen is becoming a more predictable, repeat driven business.
Retention improves as systems mature. Growth is steady, intentional, and aligned with operational constraints.
The business compounds through consistency, not acceleration.
The lesson
Most food businesses fail because they confuse growth with speed.
The Prep Kitchen shows that durability comes from discipline. Systems before scale. Retention before acquisition. Consistency over hype.
When execution is reliable, growth follows.
